Family portion- 4 cups Graham cracker crumbs
- 8 tbsp Sugar
- 20 tbsp Melted butter
- 12 Egg yolks
- 4 cans (56 oz / 1.58 kg) Sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups Key lime juice
- 4 tsp Lime zest
- for topping Whipped cream
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix crumbs, sugar, and butter; press into a 9-inch pie plate.
- Step 2: Bake crust 8–10 minutes; cool slightly.
- Step 3: Whisk yolks, condensed milk, lime juice, and zest until smooth. Pour into warm crust.
- Step 4: Bake 10–12 minutes until tiny bubbles appear at the surface. Cool, then chill at least 3 hours until set.
- Step 5: Top with whipped cream before serving.
